'Parks, music and action' extends the program to 270 workshops for Murcians to enjoy the outdoor gardens (17/04/2019)

The City Council encourages Murcia to participate this spring in about twenty open-air workshops in public gardens, to promote healthy living and family leisure.

The inscriptions in 'Parks, Music, Action' are free and open today, until April 28, at https://eventos.murcia.es/

The Councilor for Modernization of Administration and Urban Development, José Guillén, and the Councilor for Infrastructure, Public Works and Services, Rebeca Pérez, have presented the second edition of 'Parks, Music, Action', an initiative that will continue to fill life the different parks of the municipality, with free workshops and for all ages.

This edition is special and the workshops are focused on the theme "cleaning your gardens, recycling and environmental social responsibility".

In total more than 270 activities have been planned for the month of May, 250 more than in the last edition.

The Social Center of the University of Murcia also collaborates in this event.

They will be distributed in the parks and gardens of Ronda Sur, Barrio del Carmen, Infante, Patiño, Santiago el Mayor, La Flota, Murcia center, Ronda Norte, San Basilio, El Ranero, Avenidas Juan de Borbón and Juan Carlos I, Vista Alegre, Vistabella, La Fama, El Puntal, Espinardo, Los Rectores, Guadalupe, Joven Futura, Churra, Cabezo de Torres, Urbanizations, Esparragal and Monteagudo, among others.

'Parks, Music, Action' will continue to fill the parks and gardens of the municipality with life, movement and fun.

These spaces are designed so that the residents of the municipality can enjoy with friends and family outdoors, turning them into meeting points to get fit and feel good "highlighted José Guillén.

They are aimed at children, adolescents, adults, pregnant women, babies and pets.
