The spokesperson of the Municipal Socialist Group, Susana Hernández, has referred to the state in which the police can be left when the Council of Ministers approves the decree sponsored by the central government.

Since October, most of the police officers have already completed the Work Reinforcement Supplement (CRJ), which is 175 overtime hours assigned after negotiation with the unions, and, therefore, from that moment the City Council has to pay more overtime.

"With the 46 committed, we will not solve the existing deficit in terms of security in the municipality and, in addition, those 46 will not be available for January, no matter how much we ask them to Santa Claus," added Hernández.

Therefore, from the Socialist Group in the Consistory PP is required to "comply now and do not look the other way" assuming what the General Budget Law of the State of 2018 allows to expand the police workforce in the municipality with vacancies that will be for retirements.

"With the current ratio in the municipality it is impossible to carry out police work effectively and this is because of the responsibility or rather because of the irresponsibility of the PP of Ballesta," Susana Hernández has ruled.
