Murcia now requires the PP to confirm if it has a project for La Paz alternative to López Rejas (12/12/2018)

- "We ask the PP to clarify if you have already thought about that alternative project, and if this would go in the direction of the rehabilitation contemplated in the study", which indicates that of the 49 buildings that make up the neighborhood, 48 can be intervened 'and only one building should be demolished'

NOW MURCIA requires the PP to dissipate the doubts raised today at the working table for the rehabilitation of the La Paz polygon and clarify if it has an alternative project to the Lopez Rejas promoter.

The councilor Angeles Micol, who has participated this afternoon at the working table for the rehabilitation of the La Paz polygon, has indicated that "from Now Murcia we left the meeting with many doubts and with the demand that the PP does not play at the neither confusion nor with the expectations of the neighbors ".

The Town Planning Councilor, Antonio Navarro Corchón, has said at the meeting that with the report presented 'Technical diagnosis of buildings for residential use of the La Paz de Murcia polygon' "what is done is to raise, assuming that the project that is currently presenting the constitution deed, the basis for any other project. "

Micol points out that "we demand the PP to clarify if it already has that other alternative project in mind, and if this would go in the sense of the rehabilitation contemplated in said study", which indicates that of the 49 buildings that make up the neighborhood, 48 can to be intervened 'according to different rehabilitation intensities' and only one building, 10B, should be demolished.

The mayor recalls that "Now Murcia has been asking for this work table for a long time, in order to have access to information and to be explained what is happening." The La Paz neighborhood is one of the great wounds opened in the municipality. , and the PP throughout this mandate almost 4 years - has done absolutely nothing, letting the neighborhood is degraded more.La Paz needs a solution that is optimal for the residents of the neighborhood and for the municipality.
