The University of Murcia begins the acts of 25N with the reading of the 'Manifesto for the elimination of violence against women' (20/11/2018)

Representatives of the university community will read this Wednesday, November 21, the 'Manifesto 25N: for the elimination of violence against women' in an act that will take place in the Gallery of Rectors of the convalescent building, at 12 o'clock.

Minutes before the reading of the manifesto will be given the prizes of the 'I Contest of Tuits against Gender Violence' convened by the Unit for Equality between Women and Men of the UMU.

The act will have the presence, among others, of José Luján Alcaraz, rector of the UMU;

Juan Antonio Campillo Paredes, president of the Social Council;

and Carmen Sánchez Trigueros, director of the Unit for Equality between Women and Men.

During the next few days, the University of Murcia has organized a series of events commemorating the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, which is celebrated on November 25.
