Approved the bidding of'CEUS' that will be located in the municipal building of Abenarabi (19/10/2018)

The Governing Board has given the green light to the file promoted by the Department of Modernization and Urban Development for the construction of the brain 'smart' of the city, the Single Monitoring Center (CEUS) of Smart City 'MiMurcia' (Your Smart City Hall, close, open and innovative) on the ground floor of the municipal building of Abenarabi Avenue.

The budget amounts to € 349,243 and the execution period is four months.

When it becomes operational, it will become the nerve center of the beat of the smart city, control room and management of dashboards, center of attention and demonstration to citizens and crisis room

The project is promoted by the Department of Modernization of the Administration and Urban Development, directed by José Guillén, and it has taken into account the considerations of the municipal services of Traffic, Computer and Industrial Engineering, as well as the program of needs facilitated for all of them.

Located on the ground floor of the Abenarabi building of the City of Murcia, the room for the CEUS will have an area of ​​84.5 m2 and will have a lobby-showcase area of ​​75 m2 so that citizens can observe the operation of this technology and a meeting room of 50 m2 susceptible of functioning as a crisis room, a cold room necessary for the operation of monitors and control videowall, and a room designed to house the facilities of the complex.

In total, the total useful area will be 319.89 m2.

CEUS will be the control panel of all the new intelligent systems interconnected in a network, where the technological solutions related to the different management areas of the municipality will be recorded: traffic and public transport, parks and gardens, public road safety, etc.

To this end, more than 300 intelligent systems and technological components of the 'MiMurcia' project will be implemented in the coming months, which will entail the extension of WiFi coverage in squares, parks and gardens, panels that report on free parking spaces, steps of smart pedestrians and environmental monitoring stations to measure air quality, among many other planned actions.

All this will be launched after the award of the project by state agency Red.es, with an investment of 8 million euros and whose deadline for submission of offers ends next Monday.
